Description
English: The picture shows a japanese kitchen knife. The form calls "Santoku". Length of the blade: 167mm. Height: 51mm. The blade is hand forged by Kobayashi-san. The handle is made by the photographer, the brass ferrule as well. Traditional japanese kitchen knife handles use ferrules made of horn.
Русский: На фото представлен японский кухонный нож. Его форма называется "Сантоку". Длина лезвия: 127 мм. Высота: 51 мм. Лезвие вручную выковал мастер Kobayashi-san. Рукоять, а так же медный обод на рукояти изготовлены фотографом. Для изготовления ободов на рукоятях традиционных японских кухонных ножей используют рога.
