Gurm to IPA, rather than transliteration to IPA

Hi @AryamanA! I was looking at starting this module - but making an IPA module seems to be far more difficult than a transliteration. Is it possible for me to create a Gurm-IPA module directly, avoiding transliterations all together?

Also I'm a little confused on how I should create this because it seems that Punjabi has a lot of dialects, and that's before you even take Tonal sounds into considerations. Is there some sort of Standardised Pronunciation, which takes into account for both Pakistani and Indian dialects?
