What is the proof for its relation to *kāp-

Title, where are the sources for this etymology? The phonology seems dubious. Also what is the source of *kāp- “to swell”? Are there other cognates? @AmaçsızBirKişi Yorınçga573 (talk) 11:27, 13 October 2024 (UTC)

Oh wait I’m dumb the proposed *kāp- would be the root of *kāpar-, still given the phonology and the root being unattested it might be to write the etymology section like “Perhaps derived from…” and some sources would be great. Yorınçga573 (talk) 11:32, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
