Talk:太鼓

Is this really Chinese? And pronounced "dagu" not "taigu"? Kappa 10:40, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- In Chinese, it should be 大鼓 dàgǔ (not 太鼓 tàigǔ). However, there are a number of Chinese language websites which use 太鼓, borrowed directly from Japanese. I updated the entry to reflect this.
"daiko"
editThis term is pronounced "daiko" when preceded by another word (via rendaku). Thus, in the Japanese section the pronunciation "daiko" should be added. 71.66.97.228 20:14, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- We won't be adding any main entries for terms where the only change is rendaku. See the notes at Wiktionary:Requested_entries:Japanese/Non-romaji#Unsorted_Kanji for details. -- Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 08:00, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
