- Etymology would be nice. That said, many different languages have words that mean both that ethnic group and a member of that ethnic group. Some languages make this exceedingly explicit, wherein the name of the ethnic group is that language's word for person, such as Navajo diné or Hawaiian kanaka or Maori māori. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 19:34, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
