Talk:Barbie
Why two English etymologies?
editThey are both from the name Barbara. The only difference is that the doll was named after one specific Barbara. Equinox ◑ 04:38, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
Split doll into common and proper noun?
editThe citation "Many of my feminist friends hate Barbie" is for a proper noun, not the countable sense as in "my sister has three Barbies". Equinox ◑ 12:48, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
