veronica edit

The so-called "verb" sense is not defined as a verb. Should it be converted to a noun section, or should the definition be rephrased as a verb? --WikiTiki89 18:24, 1 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

If it's a noun, it seems redundant to i.e. an alternative form of veronica. If it's a verb... I'd still expect it to have the same capitalization. I can find a few hits of it (uncapitalized) as a verb:
  • 1984, George V. Higgins, Style Versus Substance: Boston, Kevin White,... →ISBN: On more receptive subjects, the left arm swiveled the coat down, so that it media-veronicaed across the pavement like a bullfighter's cape, the left hand moving up, palm upward, to grasp the voter's right forearm[.]
  • 1993, David Poyer, The Circle: He Pledged To Serve With Duty And Honor. Instead... →ISBN: Ahead of him, the lieutenant veronicaed around a steam—hissing valve stem and slid down a ladder, all one motion, his boots dangling in space until they slammed into the deck plates.
  • 2000, Darden Asbury Pyron, Liberace: An American Boy →ISBN, page 250: Had he escaped the clutches of Hollywood Confidential and veronicaed Cassandra's horns? Had his health been miraculously restored?
I suggest rephrasing it as a verb and moving it to veronica. - -sche (discuss) 18:30, 1 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
