- The only English citations I can locate for forms of this verb have all turned out to be scannos for something else. There is a perfectly good and logical Latin origin for this verb (from adactio or adactus), but the word doesn't seem to have made the transition fully into English. --EncycloPetey 09:22, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
RFV failed, entry deleted. (I don't know whether Atheomastix counts as well known — I'd never heard of it, but that doesn't necessarily mean very much — but since no one seems to be arguing that it is one, I think the default assumption is that it isn't.) —RuakhTALK 01:05, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
