may I ask you why you changed my edit at afflatus, from a good link to Wikisource into a link to archive.org, without even mentioning the link to ws? - Hi, Dick! Well, I don't think there is any rule about Wikisource being given priority over other sources. Some of the advantages of using Google Books or the Internet Archive, if a work is available at those websites, are that imprint information (place of publication, publisher, volume number, etc.) is often available; and it is possible to see what the original print publication looked like. Also, using the
{{quote}}family of templates such as{{quote-book}}or{{quote-journal}}templates ensures a consistent format on entry pages. However, if a work is not available at Google Books or the Internet Archive, then Wikisource is certainly a possible source for the work. — SGconlaw (talk) 14:28, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
