@Robbie SWE, Glades12, Mårtensås Would this be an inappropriate or uninteresting word as a FWOTD? ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 17:54, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- I think it's an interesting word. However, it should be marked as dated (dated slang), since it is not commonly used today. ᛙᛆᚱᛐᛁᚿᛌᛆᛌ ᛭ Wiktionary's most active Proto-Norse editor ᛭ Ask me anything 18:02, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- I think it's good enough, but the synonym bängen is even more interesting to me because of the latter's etymology. Glades12 (talk) 18:31, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- Haven't heard of it, so definitely dated. Don't see why it shouldn't be FWOTD. Robbie SWE (talk) 19:04, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- As a general rule, we should avoid labelling definitions from our personal intuition, as this can vary greatly from speaker to speaker. However, it is marked as ”dated” (något ålderdomligt) in Svensk ordbok (2009, 2021) (although not in SAOL), so I think this is an acceptable label. I’ll add it. --Lundgren8 (t · c) 09:20, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
