It shows up in a discussion or two on the etymology of kibosh, but not in durably archived sources as far as I can tell. I'm a bit skeptical, anyway, since kye is plural- shouldn't it be ku booties? In the entry, it's said to have the same plural as the singular, but it looks more like a plurale tantum to me, like "pants" or "scissors". Chuck Entz (talk) 13:39, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
