- Interesting, might be. Don't know about the semantic shift though, feel free to add it too if you like. I mostly went in comparison with "metirsî" ("danger", from me- + tirsîn (“to fear”)) and "misoger" ("guaranteed", from me- + sewgir (“guaranteed, certain, secure”)), as I think there aren't any other ways to explain those.
