RFV failed, entry deleted. I can find a few instances of "northern mixed" in curling contexts, but few and far between, and not supporting this sense. Rather, most were clearly SOP (e.g., in the "Northern Mixed Playdown", which is the Northern Alberta Curling Association's mixed competition; top three places go on to play in the Alberta-wide "Provincial Mixed Curling Championship"), and the not-clearly-SOP ones are also presumably SOP, just curling-clueless me couldn't tell. —RuakhTALK 18:29, 13 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
