Serious vs. critical condition edit

what is the difference between 'serious' and 'critical' when refering to someone who has had an accident? — This comment was unsigned.

Critical often implies that someone is in danger of dying soon; whereas someone in a serious condition, although they may never fully recover completely, is unlikely to die. Conrad.Irwin 02:29, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
