Citable? edit

@Angr, is this word actually citable, or is it Neo-Gaulish (in which case we should delete it)? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 16:56, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't know. I don't really have any Gaulish materials. It isn't in Matasovic's dictionary, but that dictionary doesn't usually list derived forms anyway, just the most basic roots (and the Gaulish name Siros from *sīros (long) is listed). It also isn't listed in GPC's entry for hiraeth, but that doesn't prove anything. I guess we should take it to RFV since Bli med doesn't seem to be around anymore. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 17:50, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

RFV per Talk:siraxta, where I express doubt that this word isn't merely Neo-Gaulish, and Angr cites sources which lack it. If it fails, the link at hiraeth should be removed as well. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 18:11, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Full disclosure: the sources I mentioned are not ones that I would necessarily expect to cite this form if it exists, so the argument from their silence is very weak. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 10:42, 25 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
