Usage
editThis template may be used in Wiktionary entries to format quotations from Walt Whitman's works Drum-Taps (1st edition, 1865) and Sequel to Drum-Taps (1st edition, 1865 (indicated as 1865–1866)), which were always issued together. It can be used to create a link to an online version of the work at the Internet Archive:
- Drum-Taps (1st edition, 1865; contents).
- Sequel to Drum-Taps (1st edition, 1865 (indicated as 1865–1866); contents).

Parameters
editThe template takes the following parameters:
|part=– mandatory in some cases: if quoting from Sequel to Drum-Taps, specify|part=Sequel. If this parameter is omitted, the template defaults to Drum-Taps.|1=,|chapter=, or|poem=– mandatory: the name of the "chapter" or poem quoted from. If quoting from one of the poems indicated in the second column of the following table, give the parameter the value indicated in the first column:
