Protected template edit

Is it in accordance with standard Wiktionary procedure to have a template such as this one protected? __meco 13:29, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Heavily linked templates are protected by default.--Jyril 21:18, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I find it unnecessary to have protection on other than the most important English conjugaion templates, so I posted a thread on WT:GP to have others' opinion about it. __meco 14:33, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

case= parameter edit

As added here - it breaks on usages such as on [[opasti]]. Categorization should be optional only when the parameter is non-empty. I abhor template language, so someone please fix this. --Ivan Štambuk 11:44, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

"the" suffix edit

Is "the" necessary before the word "suffix"? I think the definitions would look nicer without. --Hekaheka 06:43, 5 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Some simplifications, please edit

Hi. As for the verb forms, I'd suggest some changes that would make more sense and speed up the process if one wants to create pages manually.

  • person: the text "first" would generate automatically the text "First-person", "second" -> "Second-person" and "third" -> "Third-person"
  • mood: conditional and potential moods have only the present tense, so the text "conditional" would generate automatically the text "conditional present" and "potential" would generate "potential present"

Thanks! -- Frous 05:12, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Adding to this topic, the ways of indicating singular and plural could be more simple, e.g. "pl=s" for singular and "pl=p" for plural. --Hekaheka (talk) 05:02, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
