Python
Sorry I don't really understand that very well, but thanks for telling me. It's very interesting. All I know in python are some simple terminal command stuff like print, elif, if, while, and bla bla bla, I haven't even gotten to functions and classes yet. Can you make a bot on any website pretty much with python, connecting the program to a website? Or is this only for WikiMedia sites?
Also would it be appropriate to add elif to the dictionary as "elseif" a computing term? Just thought I'd bring that up while we're already talking about this.
Because it uses pywikipediabot, it only works for MediaWiki. Same goes for mwparserfromhell.
Good. I'm planning to make my own MediaWiki wiki, so I may want a bot. But I'll definitely need some help from someone in programming it. I'll copy your code onto my computer in case it's useful later. Thanks for sharing!
Also would it be appropriate to add elif to Wiktionary as an entry as a computing term? Just thought I'd bring that up while we're already talking about this.
The consensus is that only human languages should be allowed. We tried adding things like HTML tags in the past but ended up deleting them all.
