Requests on News talk

Regarding [1], meta:Grants:Project/Intelligibility transcriptions#Community notification points to Wiktionary talk:News for editors#Please comment on adding pronunciation assessment in addition to the earlier and now longer Grease pit link. I wanted to put it on the News page, but the suggestion there said to use the talk page or Information desk instead. Would you please make it a full news item?

I'm not able to. But the talk page doesn't seem like the appropriate place either, especially when it's already on the Grease Pit.

Who do I ask for News item approval? The Grants team asks for wide review.

I don't know, really. A sysop I suppose. There doesn't seem to be a process for it.

Do you mind if I put the News_talk thread back to ask?

It probably won't be noticed.
