STOP REDIRECTING PEOPLE TO THE WRONG PAGE. THE OLD ITALIC SCRIPT LETTERS ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE LEPONTIC ONES. UtherPendrogn (talk) 22:41, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

Wiktionary:Lepontic transliteration is the standard name for pages explaining the transliteration of a language. See Category:Transliteration policies. The page Wiktionary:Lepontic transliteration was created over a year ago by User:JohnC5.

You're not adressing the issues.

Take it up with User:JohnC5 then. Regardless of what you think however, and regardless of its contents, the page should be named Wiktionary:Lepontic transliteration.

CodeCat22:47, 14 September 2016

It's not what I think. For god's sake man, it's ATTESTED as DIFFERENT. Want me to send pictures of the STONES on which the letters have been CARVED?! And again, do NOT dodge the issue at hand.

UtherPendrogn (talk)22:49, 14 September 2016

We don't write words in stone, we write them in Unicode. And in Unicode, they're the same letters. Feel free to call the Unicode consortium and ask them to add a Lepontic script block.

CodeCat22:51, 14 September 2016

There is Lepontic Unicode, which JohnC5 has not used.

Now why don't you take your mocking tone and actually do something useful rather than wasting everyone's time by deleting shit? For fuck's sake.

UtherPendrogn (talk)22:52, 14 September 2016

Where is this supposed Lepontic Unicode block? Point me to it. I would be terrifically surprised to discover a separate Lepontic Unicode block given that the Unicode standard was amended in 2014 according to this 2011 request to make the Old Italic script block be used for Lepontic.

Posted it in the beer parlour. As you admitted there, some characters are not used in Old Italic and some are not used in Lepontic.
