Hi, I’m Saschajoon. I’m an Ashkenazi-Persian Orthodox Jew from Los Angeles. I speak English and German (and Yiddish to a pretty high level) but I’m currently learning Hebrew, and Japanese but to a lesser extent. Some other languages that interest me and I’m learning more about are Latin, Avestan, Ladino, and Farsi. I’m quite new to making and editing wikis but I’m really excited to join this community!

Also, as for any entries for Farsi or Judeo-Hamedani will be sourced from my mother and grandmother respectively both of whom are native speakers.

As for the languages mentioned in the Babel table's dialects. English - American English (Los Angeles) German - Standard German Yiddish - Ukrainian Spanish - Mexican Hebrew - Modern Standard Israeli Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew This obviously doesn't mean that I wouldn't understand a Polish Yiddish speaker, this list just explains which dialects I was taught in.
