1. A mixture of hemp shives and lime (possibly including sand, pozzolans, or cement) used as a material for construction and insulation.

     In situations such as bathrooms and kitchens where there is likely to be a higher level of humidity than other rooms in the house, hempcrete works very well with the distribution of moisture and prevention of condensation.
