  1. undeserving, unworthy, unbecoming (of something or someone)
    • 1907, Henri Vallienne, chapter 11, in Kastelo de Prelongo:
      Kiam iu montriĝas malinda de la amikeco kiun mi al ĝi montris, mi penas forgesi eĉ ĝian memoron.
      When someone is shown to be undeserving of the friendship I have shown them, I try to forget any memory of them.
  2. dishonorable
    • 1996, Sten Johansson, “Ĝis revido, krokodilido!”, in Ĝis revido, krokodilido!:
      Vidante en la kafejo kelkajn maljunulojn, kiuj sin nomis esperantistoj, kvankam ili babilis nur france, li trovis tiun konduton malinda kaj malnobla.
