relinquere
Italian edit
Etymology edit
Borrowed from Latin relinquere.
Pronunciation edit
Verb edit
relìnquere (first-person singular present relìnquo, no past historic, past participle relìtto, no imperfect, no future, no imperfect subjunctive, no imperative, auxiliary avére)
Usage notes edit
- Per Treccani, the composed tenses are lacking, and relitto functions only as an adjective. The assumption that relitto is a past participle comes from Hoepli.
