sissy bar (plural sissy bars)

  1. A looped bar behind the saddle of a motorcycle or bicycle, serving primarily as a backrest for the driver or a passenger.

      l weld a short piece of steel stock to each side of the sissy bar. The steel is still hot from the welding, so a quick shot from teh acetylene torch makes them easy to bend.
