     Đến trung tuần tháng 11, quân Tàu lại về đóng ở gần An-châu, thiếu-tướng De Négrier đem quân bộ và quân pháo-binh đi theo tả ngạn sông Lục-nam lên đánh quân Tàu ở núi Bóp.

     Between the 10th and 21st of the 11th month, the Chinese army set up camp near An Châu, and Major General De Négrier brought his infantry and artillery along the left bank of the Lục Nam River to attack the Chinese on Mount Bóp.
