Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀕𑀟𑀯𑀟 (gaḍavaḍa). Cognate with Gujarati ગડબડ (gaḍbaḍ), Marathi गडबड (gaḍbaḍ), Bengali গড়বড় (goṛoboṛ).[1]
