cheap date (plural cheap dates)

  1. (humorous) A lightweight; someone who gets drunk after a small amount of alcohol; a cheap drunk with an added overtone of likelihood of sexual activity, usually via lowered inhibition but sometimes with dark connotations of disdain for, and date rape of, allegedly "loose" victims.
Ha ha, I'm already tipsy after one drink — I'm a cheap date. [sometimes with an innuendo of flirting but often merely preemptive deflection of criticism]
They say she's a cheap date. [implying a character fault and often misogynistic]
