Etymology edit

Borrowed from Japanese p()(ぬし) (upunushi), from p() (upu, upload) ( < English upload ) + (ぬし) (nushi, proprietor); the pronunciation of up is borrowed from English up directly, not from p() (upu), which comes from directly typing "up" into a Japanese IME; (zhǔ) is an orthographic borrowing from Japanese (ぬし) (nushi).
