Learned borrowing from Koine Greek διαλογισμός (dialogismós, balancing of accounts) (directly inherited from Koine Greek in the 'deep thought' sense).[1] By surface analysis, διαλογίζομαι (dialogízomai) +‎ -μός (-mós).
