| † The dependent form is not used independently, negative and tense forms of the verb are produced when the dependent is preceded by the appropriate particle. The dependent 3rd person singular, the non-finite form, is used with the auxiliary verb έχω in the most common perfect tense forms. ‡ Transitive forms have a much less common alternative perfect in which "περάσει" is replaced by "περασμένο". This construction has a slightly stronger meaning and the form declines adjectivally. 1. This second form is non-formal. 2. In spoken use a final -ε is frequently added with, when necessary, a shift in stress. 3. Forms with the -αγ- affix are found chiefly in central and southern Greece. 4. The ending -ομε is found in some regional forms and occasionally in formal use. 5. The form given by most sources. |
