1. A hidden bomb which would explode when stepped upon or touched, such as land mine.
2. (colloquial) Something which would give an unfavourable outcome when stepped upon, touched, eaten or treated in a similar manner, such as dog feces on a road or bird's eye chilis hidden in a food.
