Etymology edit

From Khmer ស្លាក (slaak, label; ticket; lottery ticket; etc), from Pali salākā (ticket; coupon; etc). Compare Sanskrit शलाका (śalākā), and compare Khmer ឆ្លាក (chlaak), from which Thai ฉลาก (chà-làak) is derived.
