1. plain negative imperative form of 気にする: never mind!; don't worry about it.

   あいつの言(い)うことなんか気(き)にするな。

   Aitsu no iu koto nanka ki ni suru na.

   Never mind what he says.

   気(き)にするな。

   Ki ni suru na.

   Never mind.

   気(き)にするなって。

   Ki ni suru na tte.

   I already said not to worry about it.

   結果(けっか)は気(き)にするな。

   Kekka wa ki ni suru na.

   Don't worry about the results.

Usage notes

As with all plain imperatives, this form is only used when speaking informally with close friends or with subordinates. A more socially appropriate version to use in other contexts is 気(き)にしないでください (ki ni shi nai de kudasai). See Appendix:Japanese verbs § Imperative form for more.
