Probably 쇠 (soe, “bovine, of cattle”) +‎ 뜯 (tteut, “to pluck, to graze”) +‎ 기 (-gi, nominalizer): "that grazed by cattle".

The plant is a common weed in fields where cattle graze. Cattle do not actually prefer this plant.
