Korean edit

Etymology edit

이듬 (ideum, meaning unknown) +‎ (hae, year). This is one of a number of Korean words that seem to derive from an ancient root *it meaning "two", which was lost by Middle Korean times. See also 이듬 (ideum, “second plowing of the fields”), 이틀 (iteul, “two days”), 이듭 (ideup, “two years of age”).
