Appendix:Sindarin/annabon
Sindarin edit
Etymology edit
Only attested in Tolkien’s earlier conception of the language (‘Noldorin’). Diegetically explained as inherited from Primitive Elvish *andambundā, synchronically equivalent to and (“long”) + bond (“snouted”), and so cognate to Quenya andamunda.
Noun edit
annabon • 5{#w#5^ (plural ennebyn)
