The quotes themselves are not "problematic" only because there's no way to translate this use of kono into English and there's no way for you to use your idiotic, unproductive, unworkable method of highlighting. Untranslatability is a fucking thing. For fuck's sake, highlighting "me" doesn't even make even a little bit of fucking sense because it doesn't fucking correspond to kono. Feel free to revert this and ban me if you want, asshole, but I'd like to drill this one last time into your thick skull, even though that's probably impossible: if something doesn't fucking work, don't fucking force it to work, and don't fucking force awkward literal translations that aren't even that useful to suit your whim.
- One more thing, I saw your bullshit on わい again but I'm honestly tired of arguing with a dickhead who's way too proud of his ability and who keeps refusing ample evidence that thrown at his face and keeps inciting bullshit like "unconfirmable" (spoiler alert, it's very much confirmable, I've given a quotation for that), while at the same time keeps using unconfirmable bullshit that he calls "theories", justifying it with weak shit like "it appears", "considering", "more likely". - Regarding problematic quotes, please read WT:QUOTE. Of particular note (emphasis mine):
Ideally, quotations should:
- Illustrate the meaning by surrounding context, but without being too long — quotations where that word is the "star" of the sentence serve the reader better than lengthy passages which have the word incidentally buried in it;...
- Regarding Kagoshima-ben and wai, the issue was additionally well described at Talk:我#わい by both justin(r)leung and POKéTalker: we need evidence of the Kagoshima-ben term in a text with the 我 spelling. Without such evidence, the term belongs at the spellings where we do have evidence, which, based on your quotes, would be at わい and/or ワイ. This is not "bullshit" or me being a "dickhead": this is fundamental to how Wiktionary is organized.
