An eight (8) stroke version is seen at Taiwan MoE [1]. The issue may be in the same category with 草, 9 strokes or 10 strokes.
- 8 stroke 壳 is also used for Taiwanese khak in TDJ while the definition in Japanese uses 殼: [2] Hongthay (talk) 18:59, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
