Oddly enough, I'm RFVing both languages; is (deprecated template usage) derver really a common misspelling of (deprecated template usage) server? Surely it's a typo, in the same way that I can never type view correctly (viwe). For the French, there's no French entry, and the external link is for the OED, maybe wrong language, rather than inexistant? Mglovesfun (talk) 16:44, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- derver for server does seem rather common on Usenet [1], and I wonder whether it's one of those self-conscious joky misspellings like (deprecated template usage) newsfroup, (deprecated template usage) filk, (deprecated template usage) grilf, (deprecated template usage) cow-orker. - The "French" is attestable as well, but it doesn't seem to be modern French. It certainly can be kept, but it's either archaic French or Middle French - a trip to the library later should clear this up. Mglovesfun (talk) 09:08, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Common misspelling of server. It's just a typo as the 'd' and 's' are next to each other on a qwerty. Not that we really have rules on misspellings, but would we accept viwe as a common misspelling of view? Mglovesfun (talk) 21:50, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

- Delete We have generally avoided adding misspellings that are solely artifacts of technology, whether keyboard, scanning/OCR, HTML or other, except in atypical cases that otherwise seem to meet good old CFI.
