But used: "let's not faff around" by Toby Ziegler in "The Leadership Breakfast" on The West Wing. So not just a UK term.
Ever used without preposition? edit
Isn't it always "faff about" or "faff around"? You wouldn't say "He was faffing." Equinox ◑ 01:29, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
