I don’t see "English nonstandard spellings" anywhere. What are you talking about? —Stephen 21:13, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

guo is in the "English nonstandard spellings" category but zhen is in the "Mandarin nonstandard spellings" category, why? ---123abc 2010-02-12 23:08
Fixed. simply add |lang=cmn to the end of the template. I will create category. JamesjiaoT C 23:12, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Under the section "Usage notes," it says "English transcriptions of Chinese speech often fail to distinguish between the critical tonal differences employed in the Chinese language, using words such as this one without the appropriate indication of tone." 71.66.97.228 22:21, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
That just means that transcriptions of Chinese words into the English alphabet are often done without any tone markers. Nothing about nonstandard spellings. —Stephen 22:30, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
