Which dialects pronounce hour with /h/? Is it standard at all? — Ungoliant (falai) 17:42, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- I've never heard of this, and it's not in Chambers or OED, so I'm removing that pronunciation. I do remember an Hercule Poirot film where he mixed up his /h/ sounds and said "'alf an /h/our" instead of "half an hour" — obviously intended as a comical blunder.
