Why doesn't Wikiversity have references? edit
The aforementioned question is peripheral to what I have to say. My most recent edit change resulted in this definition:
- (slang) An elderly person, or a person who has had the same job, membership, or residence, etc., for a long time.

- @Guy vandegrift: You mean Wiktionary, not Wikiversity? We do have a References section in some entries. It's not mandatory, and this is a volunteer project so it's not perfectly finished. Equinox ◑ 15:59, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I meant Wikiversity. One reason I like to write on Wikiversity is that it is so natural to link to Wiktionary. This is less important for English speaking people than it is for foreigners. For that reason, your slang and colloquial entries might be your most valuable. Thanks for answering my question; after several "Random page" attempts I finally stumbled upon a References section.
