- This is where Dutch and English ideas about grammar and spelling seem to diverge. English has first segregated substantival nouns from adjectival nouns by dropping the words "substantival" and "noun" respectively and now seems to bring it back with terms like 'attributive nouns'. Besides in Dutch a compound would be written as one word 'pageantwalking'.
- A different issue is that the word pageant seems to be used (mostly?) as a short form of beauty pageant. Should that not be added to the page? Certainly "fancy pageant walking" has little to do with the meaning of the word pageant mentioned here.
