Request for Verification

I agree fully with User:Hippietrail's dictionaries about the case of abbreviations. Google shows very few uses of lower case for REM = Rapid Eye Movement, so I've marked this as rare. Is this OK?
I can't find the original discussion on rfv (presumably it is archived somewhere?), so I've just moved the remaining disputed sense to the computer sense. My inclination would be to keep this sense, but what is Wiktionary policy on computer language (English subset)? 78.32.74.12 22:59, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Missing sense: idiot/"retard"?

UK 1980s/1990s school slang: a rem was a very foolish person, synonym for "div", "retard", etc. The best etymological theory I have heard is "remedial" (special classes for kids with a mental disability). Difficult to cite; perhaps from UK groups on Usenet? Equinox ◑ 02:23, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
