Occitan translations edit
Could you add the Occitan terms to Appendix:Units of time? Also, could you improve the entry for escotar? I started the entry, but can't go further without knowing much about Occitan. --EncycloPetey 20:29, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi. According to the Trésor de la langue Francaise, the source is manado. They give a citation from Frédéric Mistral's Mireio: "dins uno grand manado". Is that not the usual word in Occitan? Ƿidsiþ 11:56, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

The IPA looks a bit dodgy here, /o/ refers to the sound made by eau or eaux in French, also is the first e right? /e/ is the sound made by épiler (/e.pil.e/). Mglovesfun (talk) 10:39, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

- Sorry to add yet another message (you can have my Window Live or email address on request) but for any plural that's not just -s (like vèrb) you need to specify it, and also see WT:ACCEL for auto-creating plurals (really really easy to use, I was amazed by it). This has been up for deletion for ages as a Catalan proper noun, it seems like bollocks to me. Can you confirm? On an unrelated note, I can't email you unless you specify an email address (but, that's your choice). Mglovesfun (talk) 16:34, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
