I signed up to add English sections to a variety of words listed only as Latin. Mid-edit of vetite my account was suspended. This was vexatious given the time invested in manipulating a foreign syntax.

I signed up using a disposable email address service; I hate spam, too. Attracted to the red text page top I created a User Page. I added three modes of communication. I crafted the English section for petite, but was unable to commit the edit. Subsequently I changed email address to my outlook account and created this refutation.

After each edit I had planned to link back to my User page to facilitate discussion — hence contact information. While I realize the function of the Talk page I prefer most communication not be public record.

Providing contact information on one's user page is neither spamming nor advertising per se and most certainly not in the format I elected to employ. XMPP Texting accounts by construction contain domain names as do email addresses. Leaving a contact [user]@outlook.com is no more an advertisement for outlook.com than is [user]@gmail.com a gmail promotion.

Both XMPP and SIP are Open Standards. OTR, too, is an Open Standard facilitating encryption without the typical steep learning curve.

I am aware of the risks cited in section Personal and privacy-breaching material. XMPP Texting affords privacy- and security granularity; it is safe to leave in public. SIP Texting affords similar filtering [potential] power. The Public Email DEA (Disposable Email Address) allows non-private information exchange without the trauma of cited harassment possibilities.
