Hi there. Could you please only include a link to Wikipedia where such an article actually exists - it confuses our users. Here is our standrad welcome. SemperBlotto 17:52, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

Thanks for helping the new kid. edit

I feel very welcome! I guess I thought I would get more entries done all at once. Sorry for creating dead links. I'll fix that ASAP. More articles to come. Thanks again for the welcome.

A tip for noun entries edit

We're trying to encourage the use of templates which make it possible to easily control the consistency of entries. For example, for the headword for single-minded branding moment, see how I've changed that to a template that reads . Note that this automatically creates a plural for the entry; if the plural was something other than the original term, the plural would be written in a separate section (as with ).
