Persian edit

This language (and all its words) are written in (deprecated template usage) Nastaliq characters, not Latin ones. SemperBlotto (talk) 06:27, 29 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

farda edit

Your entry had no headword and no proper definition. SemperBlotto (talk) 12:58, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

You obviously have no clue on what you're arguing about and wasting my valuable time here. Iranic (talk) 13:11, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
You need to learn how to format our entries. I suggest that you look at something similar and see how that is formatted. SemperBlotto (talk) 13:23, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
"You obviously have no clue on what you're arguing about and wasting my valuable time here". This actually works fairly well as a self-description: You're wasting your time and that of all the people you're complaining to because you don't want to admit even to yourself that you made a mistake. Please read our Entry layout page. SemperBlotto has been editing at Wiktionary for well over a decade, so he knows how we do things here. You may understand how Wikipedia does things, but this isn't Wikipedia. Everything that he mentioned is a fatal flaw that's more than explanation enough for his reverts. Don't let your anger at the abrupt nature of his actions cloud your judgement- he may not have been comprehensively nice about it, but he's absolutely correct and by-the-book as to the substance. Actually, it's not that different from Wikipedia- you can't just create your own style. If I went over to Wikipedia and created an article with just a rambling statement of my opinions in ALL CAPS, and no references, how long do you think it would last?
You seem not to have considered the possibility, but you're not the first person to attempt Persian entries at Wiktionary: see WT:AFA for the standards and practices developed over the years by our Persian editors, and see فردا for the real Persian entry. @Chuck Entz Some battles are just not worth fighting. I decided to stop editing on Wiktionary. So you can edit your articles, and keep them the way that you like. But, assuming that my edits were entirely wrong, there was no reason to ban my account and not to reply to my message on his discussion board after more than a month or so. What he did was completely wrong, but I won't discuss it further. 162.129.251.104 19:49, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
